Seoul stocks down 0.03 pct in late morning

SEOUL, May 13 (Yonhap) -- South Korean stocks traded 0.03 percent lower late
Wednesday morning as foreign and institutional investors locked in profits,
analysts said.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) fell 0.49 points to
1,403.02 as of 11:20 a.m.
Most blue-chip shares were trading in negative territory, with financials
reversing earlier gains.
The local currency was trading at 1,237.4 won to the U.S. dollar as of 11:20
a.m., up 5.2 won from Tuesday's close.
