Foreign Minister hails personnel’s efforts

Manama, July 25 (BNA): Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today held a general meeting through video conference with the staff on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. Dr. Al Zayani conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to the ministry’s personnel for their efforts to promote Bahrain’s interests and enhance its international status. He expressed his deep gratitude to HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for their unwavering support to the ministry. He praised Bahraini embassies’ efforts to implement the royal directives to start providing vaccinations to citizens abroad as well as their coordination with the concerned authorities, noting the efforts of Bahraini embassies in the UK, Egypt, Jordan and Pakistan. He commended the personnel’s efforts to enhance the ministry’s performance, stressing the importance of constantly developing their capabilities and skills, including diplomats and administrators, to achieve comprehensive diplomacy and keep abreast of challenges. Dr. Al Zayani extended thanks to the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies for the various courses and training programmes that benefit the ministry’s staff.
