SEA and AGU discuss benefiting of solar energy systems

Manama, Aug. 4 (BNA): Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA)'s President Dr. Abdulhussein bin Ali Mirza received Arabian Gulf University (AGU)’s President Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al Ohali, and Dr. Khalid Saeed Tabbara, a faculty member at the university. Dr. Mirza praised the important efforts and contributions made by the AGU to enrich the Bahraini labor market by preparing students with competitive and international standards in all fields, especially in the fields of science and health services. The meeting discussed the possibility of installing solar energy systems in the buildings and spaces of the AGU and King Abdullah Medical City, to support the efforts of various parties from the private and public sectors to take advantage of the available spaces in their buildings and facilities to produce electricity from clean resources. The SEA president affirmed that this initiative shows the university's keenness to support the national efforts to increase the share of renewable energy resources and achieve the desirable goals. The AGU faculty praised the vital role of the SEA and its efforts in developing the sustainable sources in the Kingdom, affirming the university’s keenness to cooperate with the SEA and all relevant authorities.
