Bahraini-US relations discussed

Manama, Aug. 4 (BNA): Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, stressed the depth of historical strategic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the USA. He also praised cooperation between the two friendly countries, mainly in the financial and economic field. He underlined the kingdom’s keenness to further boost bilateral cooperation and build on previous achievements. The Minister of Finance and National Economy was speaking as he received today the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Arabian Peninsula Affairs in the Near East Bureau at the US Department of State, Daniel Benaim. He welcomed him and reviewed with him strong historical relations between the two friendly countries and their perpetual growth at all levels. Both sides also discussed the latest global economic developments and issues of common interest.
