Shura Council Chairman receives Arab Parliament Speaker

Manama, Aug. 8 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, today received Arab Parliament Speaker, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoomi. Al-Saleh lauded the Arab Parliament’s efforts and initiatives to enhance Arab parliamentary relations and coordination with Arab legislative councils regarding many regional issues, praising its stances in support of Bahrain, under all circumstances, as well other Arab countries’ security and stability. The Shura Chairman stressed the importance of developing Arab parliamentary relations, and increasing visits and communication among Arab legislative councils. He also praised the Arab Parliament’s initiatives to develop and propose guiding legislation and laws that unify Arab parliamentary efforts. He also valued highly the role played by the Shura Council’s Arab Parliament members in discussing and studying issues and legislation aimed at enhancing joint Arab parliamentary work in the face of various challenges.
