Bahraini-Jordanian military cooperation discussed

Manama, Aug. 12 (BNA): BDF Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi headed Bahrain's delegation in the 18th virtual meeting of the High Bahraini-Jordanian Military Cooperation Committee. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti, headed the Jordanian delegation. The chief of staff praised the relations between Bahrain and Jordan, and the development they are witnessing at all levels, especially in the military field, noting that this relation reflects the common visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein. The two sides reviewed a number of topics on the committee’s agenda, which would strengthen the foundations of the military cooperation. They also discussed ways to develop cooperation between the BDF and the Jordanian Armed Forces, in addition to highlighting a number of joint military projects.
