Bahrain condemns Houthi militia’s drone attack against Saudi Arabia

Manama, Aug. 19 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has condemned the launch of a booby-trapped drone towards the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia in a deliberate and systematic targeting of civilians and facilities. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s stand and full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its efforts to deter all threats to its security, stability and territorial integrity. It also commended the efficacy and vigilance of the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen, which were able to intercept and destroy the aircraft in Yemeni airspace. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called anew on the international community to condemn such recurrent vicious terrorist attacks that target the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and threaten the security and stability of the region.
