Saudi Minister of Education, Member of Baden-Powell Fellowship
Boston, May 14, SPA-- Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf, Honorary
President of World Scout Fund, has decorated Prince Faisal bin
Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, Minister of Education, President of
Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association with a badge as a member of
Baden-Powell Fellowship during his participation in a ceremony of
World Scout Fund celebrating its donors and supporters in the city of
Boston in the United States of America.
The ceremony was attended by a number of scientists, intellectuals
and businessmen.
It is noteworthy that the Baden-Powell Fellowship includes among the
most prominent figures, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al
Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector
General; and Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh
region.
Members of Baden-Powell Fellowship are interested in supporting
scouts and the Global Office through financial, educational and
qualification aspects.
The Vice President of Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association Dr.
Abdullah bin Suleiman Al-Fahd pointed out that Saudi Scouting has
enjoyed a global and distinguished presence at international arenas
and committees, thanks to the support provided by the King and the
Crown Prince and to the directives and support of Prince Faisal bin
Abdullah.
