Health Minister receives Bahraini ambassador to France

Manama, August 24 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al Saleh received Bahrain Ambassador-designate to France Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and congratulated him on his appointment, wishing him success in his diplomatic duties to bolster bilateral relations. They discussed aspects of cooperation and partnership between the ministry and France, highlighting agreements and memoranda of understanding which were signed between the two countries to train Bahraini doctors in France. They also stressed the importance of stepping up coordination to develop relations, activate agreements and memoranda of understanding, consolidate cooperation and exchange expertise and practices in the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The ambassador expressed pride in the royal trust, stressing keenness on consolidating cooperation and continuing efforts to further strengthen bilateral relations and serve Bahrainis’ interests in France.
