HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman

Manama, Aug. 29 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, HE Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, following the Minister's visit to the Kingdom to participate in the seventh session of the Bahraini-Omani Joint Ministerial Committee. At the start of the meeting, His Royal Highness welcomed HE the Minister to Bahrain, before greetings were exchanged on behalf of the Sultan of Oman, HM Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, and by His Royal Highness, underlining HM the King’s and the Sultan of Oman’s support for close bilateral relations. His Royal Highness recognised the shared history and interests that underpins growing bilateral relations between the two countries and the role of the seventh session of the Bahraini-Omani Joint Committee in promoting cooperation and shared objectives. For his part, HE the Minister, expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness's efforts to nurture further cooperation between the two nations. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, and HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, were in attendance.
