International Police Association delegation briefed on Bahrain's Women Police

Manama, Aug. 30 (BNA): Director-General of Women Police Brigadier Mona Abdulraheem has received a delegation from the International Police Association (IPA). The meeting was part of interaction with regional and international organizations to exchange expertise and bolster cooperation. The delegation was briefed about the history of Bahrain's Women Police and the services provided in serving the community and protecting citizens, especially women, children and youth. The director general stressed that the support of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to the women police has helped women to take up several high-security posts in the ministry. The meeting reviewed topics of common interest.
