European Qualifiers: Qatar Loses its First Match Against Serbia

Budapest, September 01 (QNA) - Qatar national football team received its first loss against Serbian counterpart by four goals without a response in the confrontation that brought them together Wednesday at the Nagerde Stadium in the Hungarian city of Debrecen in the first group of European qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Qatar's Boualem Khoukhi self scored for Serbia (2), Luka Jovic (18), Dusan Vlahovic (60) and Nikola Milinkovic (85). Qatar team entered the match against Serbia with 7 points from the victory over Luxembourg and Azerbaijan and the draw with Ireland, as a representative host country for the 2022 World Cup, the results of its matches will not be counted in the ranking of the points of the teams in Group A, which includes Luxembourg, Portugal, Azerbaijan, Serbia and the Republic of Ireland.
