Lectures to inform inmates of financial rights suggested

Manama, Sept. 9 (BNA): Lectures to inform inmates of their financial rights, including inheritance, social security and housing, have been suggested by the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR). The suggestion was among activities within NIHR’s strategy work plan for 2022-2025 discussed by the General Rights and Freedoms Committee. Under another suggestion, lectures would be presented to security men in reform, rehabilitation and detention centers to introduce the law of reform and rehabilitation institutions, the executive regulations, how to deal with inmates, adhere to the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, and highlight their rights and duties.
