Al Wakra, Al Gharafa Participate in the Arab Basketball Club Championship

Cairo, September 20 (QNA) - Al Wakra and Al Gharafa will Participate in the 33rd edition of the Arab Club Basketball Championship, which will be held in Alexandria, Egypt, from September 29 to October 9. The draw has placed Al Wakra and Al Gharafa in the second and fourth groups, respectively. The teams were divided into 4 groups, 4 teams in two groups, and 5 teams in two groups. Al Wakra finished in Group B, along with the UAEs Sharjah, Al Yarmouk from Kuwait, Greek from Sudan, and Al Zahraa from Tunisia, while Al Gharafa team finished in Group D, along with the Lebanese Beirut, Al Bataeh from UAE, Al Kuwait SC from Kuwait, and Manama from Bahrain. Group A includes: Al Ittihad of Alexandria, Al Blida of Algeria, the Yemeni port and the Union of the Conquest of Morocco, and Group C witnessed : Al-Ahly from Egypt, Wydad Boufarik from Algeria, Shaab Hadramout from Yemen and Al-Fateh from Saudi Arabia. The preliminary round matches will be held in a league manner from one round, then two teams from each group qualify for the quarter-finals. (QNA)
