Foreign Minister meets 76th UNGA President

New York, Sept. 20 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani met here today the President of the 76th session of United Nations General Assembly, Abdulla Shahid. The Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated Abdulla Shahid on being elected the President of the 76th session of UNGA, hailing the programme set for this session and wishing him success in achieving the desired outcomes. They also reviewed the issues to be discussed by the UNGA during this session and their expected outcomes. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Jamal Faris Al Ruwaie, as well as the Acting Chief of Organisations at MoFA, Ambassador Shaikha Aysha Ahmed Saqer Alkhalifa.
