HM King condoles with Egyptian President on Tantawy's demise

Manama, Sept. 21 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of condolences to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of Egypt on the demise of the former general commander of the Armed Forces and minister of defence and military production Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawy. HM King Hamad praised the deceased's role in supporting the historical relations between Bahrain and Egypt and his efforts in serving his country and defending the Arab nation. HM the King prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the soul of the deceased in eternal peace and grant his family and the people of Egypt fortitude and consolation.
