Foreign Minister meets Senegalese counterpart

New York, Sep.21 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met in New York today at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Senegal to the United Nations, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad, Madame Aïssata Tall Sall, on the sidelines of the 76th United Nations General Assembly. The meeting discussed means to enhance friendship and joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Senegal in various fields to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries. The two sides also discussed the latest developments in the region and exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest. The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Jamal Faris Al Ruwaie and the Minister’s accompanying delegation attended the meeting.
