Defence Minister offers Bahrain's condolences on demise of Field Marshal Mohammed Tantawi

Manama, Sept. 26 (BNA): Minister of Defence, Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, paid a visit today to the Egyptian embassy to offer condolences on the demise of former General Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Minister of Defence and Military Production, Field Marshal Mohammed Hussain Tantawi. The Minister of Defence expressed to Egyptian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Yasser Mohammed Ahmed Shaban, sincere condolences, paying homage to the deceased and recalling his role in boosting historical fraternal relations between both countries and peoples. He also pointed out the contributions of Field Marshal Mohammed Hussain Tantawi in serving Egypt and defending its interests and the interests of the Arab nation.
