Qatar Olympic Committee Participates in GCC Olympic Committees Executive Board Meeting

Doha, September 28 (QNA) - Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) participated in the 91st meeting of the Executive Office of the Council of Their Highnesses and Excellencies Heads of the Olympic Committees in the Gulf Cooperation Council, which was held via videoconference technology on Monday. HE Secretary-General Qatar Olympic Committee Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain represented the Committee at the meeting. The meeting discussed the issues to be submitted to the 33rd meeting of the Council of Their Highnesses and Excellencies Heads of the GCC Olympic Committees, which will be held Thursday, including following-up the implementation of decisions taken during last meeting. They also reviewed the GCC sports cooperation strategy and the preparations for 3rd Gulf Sports Games to be staged in Kuwait in 2022, in addition to the suggestion of the GCC Secretariat General to enhance the GCC Joint Work in the Paralympic sports field.
