HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets the State of Israel's Minister of Foreign Affairs

Manama, Sept. 30 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with Israel's Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Yair Lapid and an accompanying delegation, at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom's commitment to uphold regional peace, development, and stability, in line with Bahrain's comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's direction. His Royal Highness noted that the Kingdom of Bahrain is committed to promoting the values of understanding, dialogue, cooperation, peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and rapprochement between peoples. His Royal Highness welcomed the opening of the State of Israel's embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which affirms the importance of further strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation. His Royal Highness reiterated that it is crucial to build upon what has been achieved following the signing of the Abraham Accords to support international efforts and consolidate regional and international peace, security, and stability. His Royal Highness then hosted a luncheon in honour of HE Lapid's visit to the Kingdom. The Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and several other officials attended the meeting.
