Bahrain’s Ambassador: Israeli Foreign Minister’s visit to supports culture of dialogue and coexistence

Manama, Sep.30 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to the State of Israel Khaled Yousef Al-Jalahma has praised the outcome of the visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel His Excellency Yair Lapid to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its results in several areas. He noted in particular the conclusion of a number of memoranda of understanding in many areas, most notably in sports, environmental sector, innovation and development of water resources. Al Jalahma also noted Bahrain’s granting the State of Israel the right of sovereignty over its subscribers’ information in the existing cloud computing centers in the Kingdom of Bahrain as per regulations effect in addition to granting it the status of an approved partner for the International Center for Sea and Air Freight Services. He stressed that this visit gives an impetus to bilateral relations to spread together a culture of dialogue and coexistence and establish a base for cooperation and exchange of interest in various fields and continue joint coordination to reflect positively on consolidation of the peace process in the region and the aspirations of countries and peoples, towards further and prosperity. He hailed the vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain on peace in the Middle East and its keenness to enhance stability and security in the region. The ambassador indicated that this visit and the signed memoranda of understanding coms as a continuation of the efforts of ministers and officials who carried out previous visits to the State of Israel to sign memoranda of understanding in other fields. Such visit, he added, have greatly helped in the exploration of promising economic opportunities in both countries and exchange of experiences and investments. Ambassador Al-Jalahma said that these memorandums are considered the executive tool for the historic accord with Israel, stressing that the way is paved today for the two peoples to reap the fruits of this agreement through multiple memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries in various fields.
