Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister meets think tanks in Washington

Washington, Oct.1 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister stressed the importance of bilateral relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America. Addressing a work luncheon in Washington, he highlighted steadily-growing trade ties, supported by joint agreements, exchanged visits and commercial programmes. Al Zayani was speaking during the event which was held on the sidelines of his official visit to the USA during which he held meetings with think tanks based in Washington. In attendance were Bahrain’s Ambassador to Washington Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa and Assistant Undersecretary for Domestic and External Trade Shaikh Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa. The minister stressed the pivotal role played by think tanks in supporting exchanged expertise between both countries to conduct research and providing consultancy regarding trade policies and emergent technologies.
