Qatar Beach Volleyball Championship: Al Gharafa and Qatar SC Win

Doha, October 05 (QNA) - Al Gharafa and Qatar SC won two clean sets over Al Shamal and Al Sadd in the matches that were held Monday as part of the Qatar Beach Volleyball Cup organized by the Qatar Volleyball Association as continuation of the last season 2020-2021. The matches of the (supplementary) tournament started on the first of October and will be concluded on the ninth with participation of 9 teams: Al Gharafa, Al Sadd, Al Arabi, Al Shamal, Al Ahli, Al Rayyan, Al Khor, Qatar SC and Al Wakra, and will be held in accordance with the health precautionary measures for the Corona virus (Covid-19) followed in the country. It is noteworthy that the Al Shamal team leads the championship standing with 17 points followed by Al Gharafa in second place by 16 points, Qatar SC comes in third place with 14 points, then Al Arabi is in fourth place with 13 points.
