Foreign Minister receives Lord George Robertson, Lord David Richards

Manama, Oct. 6 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received today Lord George Robertson and Lord David Richards, on the occasion of their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting, they emphasised the depth of the strong historical relations that unite the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly United Kingdom in various fields. They also discussed aspects of the constructive cooperation between the two friendly countries, as well as the two sides’ keenness and continuous endeavours to promote bilateral cooperation and coordination to achieve common interests, in addition to discussing a number of topics and issues of common interest. Present at the meeting was the Chief of European Affairs, Ahmed Al-Qarainees.
