HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad meets UK Chief of the General Staff

London, Oct.7 (BNA): National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa hailed strong historic relations spanning over two hundred years between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, based on confidence, mutual respect and strategic partnership in maintaining regional and international security, stability and peace and combatting terrorism. During his meeting in London with UK Chief of the General Staff General Sir Mark Carleton-Smith, HH Shaikh Nasser reviewed ways of consolidating cooperation, exchanging expertise in the defence fields towards serving common interests. He said that Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, is keen on strengthening strong strategic relations and partnership across all fields, hailing the efforts of General Sir Carleton-Smith to consolidate military and defence cooperation. The meeting was attended by Bahrain’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
