BIBF to host National Real Estate Forum in November

Manama, Oct. 10 (BNA): Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF) will host the National Real Estate Forum on November 23 – 24. The Forum, under the Patronage of the CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) Shaikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, is launched as part of BIBF’s commitment to the professional development of the real estate sector and aims to contribute to advancing the real estate industry and the Kingdom’s economy as a whole. The two-day forum will bring together key speakers and subject-matter experts to discuss various emerging topics in the real estate space. The first day will involve engaging sessions and panel discussions that will be open to the public, while the second day will offer different specialised training workshops, where participants can register according to their training needs. “Hosting the National Real Estate Forum will supports implementing the second pillar in the National Real Estate Plan 2021-2024,” Shaikh Mohammed said. “The Government-private sector partnership supports RERA’s aspiration to make Bahrain the premier destination for real estate investment, innovation solutions & sustainability both regionally and globally.” Shaikh Mohammed added that Law 27 of 2017 With Respect to Promulgating the Real Estate Sector Regulation reflects the importance of the future development of the real estate market. Diyar Al Muharraq Chief Executive Officer Ahmed Ali Alammadi said that as the largest and most progressive real estate development company in Bahrain, Diyar’s operational framework is governed by a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility in line with its vision to create a sustainable future for its residents and Bahrain. “This framework is built upon an ethos of actively contributing to the sustainable advancement of the Kingdom’s real estate sector at large, through launching in-house training programmes and supporting key discussions and forums, which enable knowledge sharing and idea generation, and thereby the development of future generations to come,” he said. BIBF Director Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh said BIBF strongly believes in the importance of developing the human capital to support the achievement of national strategies. “We trust that this forum will enable participants to have a unique learning experience that can encourage innovation in the real estate sector,” he said. "This initiative comes in line with our strategic partnership with the RERA and Diyar Al Muharraq and our commitment to support and contribute to the National Real Estate Plan 2021-2024."
