BACA President chairs GCC culture ministers' meeting

Manama, Oct. 11 (BNA): President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa chaired the 25th meeting of the Culture Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries virtually. The meeting emphasized the importance of the declaration of Al-Ula about the Supreme Council 41st session, the summit of Sultan Qaboos and Shaikh Sabah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting discussed the efforts of GCC countries in confronting the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on the cultural sector, the GCC countries cultural strategy for 2020-2030, Translation and Arabization Center, and the annual plan for joint cultural activities and events.
