Qatar Swimming Association Participates in FINA Meeting

Doha, October 11 (QNA) - Qatar Swimming Association (QSA) participated in the meeting of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), which was held Monday via video conference. During the meeting, the agenda of the upcoming championships of FINA was discussed, as well as the latest preparations for the World Swimming Championships in the short course (25 meters), which will be held in Abu Dhabi from Dec. 16 to 21, 2021. The Qatar Swimming Association is preparing to host the third round of the 2021 Swimming World Cup, from Oct.21 to 23,2021, at Hamad Aquatic Centre. It is expected that Doha will attract the elite swimmers during this event, as all four rounds of the championship this year will be qualifying events for the 15th World Championships in the short course (25 meters), which will be held at the end of 2021.
