UoB President receives ambassador to Belgium

Manama, Oct. 17 (BNA): University of Bahrain (UoB) President Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al Mudhahki received Bahraini Ambassador to Belgium Abdullah Faisal Jaber Al Dossari. The meeting discussed cooperation in facilitating academic and research agreements with foreign universities, exchange expertise and overcoming difficulties for Bahraini students abroad. The ambassador was briefed on the university’s future plans, aspects related to representing UoB abroad, and the development of international scientific relations. The president stressed the role of Bahraini diplomatic missions in introducing the Kingdom to the international community and UoB role in providing qualified young cadres using the latest scientific and research methods. The ambassador praised UoB efforts and stressed his keenness to enhance cooperation with the regional and international countries to achieve the utmost benefit in scientific and research fields. He congratulated Dr. Al Mudhahki on obtaining the Royal trust, wishing the university further progress.
