University of Bahrain to hold data analytics conference

Manama, Oct.24 (BNA): The University of Bahrain (UoB) will tomorrow, Monday, the second international conference on data analytics for Economy and Industry. UoB President Dr. Dr. Jawaher Shaheen Al Mudhahki will open the virtual conference under the theme “Road to Sustainable Economy”. The UoB Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research will organise the conference in cooperation with the College of Sciences, the College of Business Management and College of Information Technology and in partnership with prominent international universities and institutions. Academicians, postgraduate students, local and international data analytics experts will take part in the conference, supported by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, with the participation of Informs Bahrain International Group, Skema Institute of Artificial Intelligence Liverpool John Moores University. The two-day virtual conference will focus mainly on the Sustainable Development Goals, the UoB Strategic Plan which stems from Bahrain’s vision to build a knowledge-based economy.
