First Qatar Horse Show Championship Kick-Off

Doha, October 25 (QNA) - The first horse show events of purebred Arabian horses of local Bred kicked off today at Longines Indoor Arena of Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar foundation, with the participation of a number of the most beautiful Arabian purebred horses. On the first day, foals and mares competitions were held, while the championship continues tomorrow with foals and stallions, and champions competitions for different categories. In the one-year-old filly competitions (1A), the filly (Qatar Maroon) owned by Maroon Stud achieved first place, In the competition of foals, one year old (1B), the filly (Wadi'ah Al Shahaniya) owned by Al Shahaniya Stud won first place. In the two-year-old filly competition (2A), the filly (ES Sherine) owned by Al Sayyid Ibrahim bin Youssef Al Rumaihi won the first place. In the two-year-old foals competition (2B), the filly (Al Olaya Al Sraiya) owned by Al Sraiya Stud won first place. In the three-year-old filly competitions, the skilled (Ariba Al Shaqab) owned by Al Hajjaj Stud achieved first place. In the competitions for mares aged 4-6 years, the mare (Haya Al Shahaniya) owned by Al Shahaniya Stud won first place. Finally, in the competitions of mares aged 7-10 years, the mare (Dima Al Nasser) owned by Misfir Mohammad Al Hajri won the first place. (QNA)
