Qatar Cricket Team to Meet Saudi Counterpart

Doha, October 27 (QNA) Qatar National Cricket Team will face its Saudi counterpart Wednesday within the Asian qualifiers for the Cricket World Cup (Australia 2022), which is currently being held at the stadiums of the Asian city in Doha, and will continue until next Friday, with the participation of teams of Qatar (the host country), Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and the Maldives. On Wednesday, Bahrain will have a match against the Maldives. Wednesday's confrontations will be decisive and will largely determine who is closest to crowning for the title after the results achieved during the past rounds. The Qatari cricket team won against the Maldives and lost against Bahrain, while the Saudi team defeated the Maldives and Kuwait.
