Qatar Olympic Academy Organizes Course on Modern Management of Sport Organizations

Doha, November 02 (QNA) - The Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA), in cooperation with the IOC Olympic Solidarity Commission, organized a pioneering five-day training course on "Modern Management of Sport Organizations". The course key speaker, former Executive Director of Oman Olympic Committee and former Secretary General of Oman Basketball Federation, Dr. Sulaiman bin Ali Al Baloushi, delivered a series of presentations about the values of management skills, effective communication, work environment management and team work to achieve the objectives of the sport organizations and to meet their highest standards of performance. A total of 45 participants attended the course, including 28 employees from Qatar Olympic Committee, from various departments and disciplines, who are enrolled in the "Kawader" program, which was launched by the Human Resources Department with the aim of developing the administrative cadres in the Qatar Olympic Committee, in addition to 5 students from the Sultanate of Oman, 3 from Kuwait, and one student from Palestine This course aimed to increase the learning and field experience of the QOC's administrative employees and others and helping them to turn more professional in dealing with the organizational and administrative issues during the host of championships.
