QNB Stars League: Al Sailiya, Qatar SC Coaches Seek Victory Tomorrow

Doha, November 03 (QNA) - Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi stressed the importance of defeating Qatar SC in the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 9 match on Thursday.
"The next match is of great importance to us, especially after a series of negative results and wasted opportunities that made the team in a difficult position. I hope that we will be ready for the next match that comes before the break that will witness a restructuring in Al Sailiya.
"The break will see a meeting with the club administration in order to assess the situation and identify the areas for improvement in the team, whether the problem is with the coach, players or any other matters. We will look for solutions objectively and I always do not blame anyone for the shortcomings and take full responsibility.
"We will act in the best interests of the team and work towards improvement in the position in the table. We have been facing a problem since last season, on how to convert opportunities to goals. We will also try to find solutions to score goals from half-chances," said Trabelsi.
Meanwhile, Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri said, "The Al Sailiya match in the ninth round of QNB Stars League is important and difficult. Therefore, we will go into it with great care and respect for the competitors and we hope to achieve victory. For a short period of time, we conceded goals due to poor concentration, in addition to the players' injuries that affected the entire group.
"As for the match against Al Sailiya, we worked very hard this week. Frankly, I have great confidence in the players and their ability to achieve the desired results, although we need to improve in all departments of the game.
"Our last match against Al Duhail proved our ability to compete with any team in the league, provided we maintain focus and attention to details through which we can produce positive results. The difference in points is not that big between a number of teams in the middle of the standings and the last positions, and any result can change the team's position.
"Facing Al Sailiya will be difficult for both teams because Al Sailiya also had a difficult start, but for us the difficulty lies in the injuries to important players and the lack of focus cost us important points. But it is an opportunity for young players, and they deserve it and I expect a positive reaction from them," said Youssef. (QNA)
