Qatar Tennis Federation Exec. Director Says Organizing Committee Committed to World Padel Championship Success

Doha, November 17 (QNA) - Executive Director of Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation Saad Al Mohannadi said that the World Padel Championship's (Qatar 2021) organizing committee is doing its utmost to ensure the success of the competition, which is taking place at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex for the first time in the region. Al Mohannadi, who is also head of the competition's public relations committee, said that the World Padel Championship is a great opportunity to learn about this sport in the Middle East and the Arab region through the Qatar portal, praising the great interest of the masses to follow the competitions of the tournament, which includes 16 teams. He highlighted that this was the first time ever that the competition takes place in the Middle-East and Asia, saying that the praise from the participating delegations reflect the competition's success. He noted that there were 200 volunteers at the competition who welcomed Doha's guests and play an important role in ensuring the success of the competition. On the Qatari team's participation, he said that the main goal of participating was to gain experience. He noted that the Qatari team managed to be one of the best 16 teams in the world, despite the game being relatively new. (QNA)
