RI-HUNGARY COOPERATION CONSTANTLY IMPROVING
Jakarta, May 19 (ANTARA) - Cooperation between Indonesia and Hungary had been constantly increasing, especially in mines, energy and tourism.
Indonesian embassador to Hungary Mangasi Sihombing said in a press release on Tuesday on the occasion of Indonesian Day in Hungary.
Improved relations between the two countries, he said, were reflected in the humanitarian aid provided by the Hungarian society to the people in Aceh and Nias following the tsunami attack in 2004 and the strong tectonic quake in 2005.
According to Sihombing, the rehabilitation program in Aceh and Nias had almost been completed, especially in the reconstruction of houses and infrastructure devasted by the tsunami.
The rehabilitation and reconstruction in the two regions significantly improved Aceh and Nias in the post-tsunami period.
Indonesia and Hungary relations had been running well in the framework of the inter religious dialogue, he said, adding that the dialogue won the appreciation of the world, including Hungary.
