Lao University students visit India

(KPL) Five Lao University students recently paid a ten day visit to India to exchange lesson with a group of other ASEAN students.
The Lao students has visited Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Agra and Jaipur during this period and had interactions at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, TIDEL Park, Indian School of Business, Hitec city, CII Green Business Centre, Dr. MCR Human Resource Development Institute. Tata International, EXIM Bank, Mumbai Stock Exchange Limited, St. Xavier’s college, Indian Institute of Technology, Larsen & Toubro Limited, Whistling Woods International for Film, Television & Media, LG Electronics Plant and Samtel Colour Limited. They also had an opportunity to see well known touristic sites of India including Qutab Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra Fort and Mahabalipuram. They also met with Ambassador of India and shared their impressions of the visit. The most prominent image that they carry is of lots of colour, activities and brisk pace of life everywhere. They found the visits to the Technological Institutes and the historical places of great interest.
The exchange visits of students from ASEAN countries to India are an on-going programme which is conducted in cooperation between the Government of India and Government of Lao PDR.
