Foreign Minister receives outgoing Israeli embassy Charge D'Affaires

Manama, Nov. 24 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received today in his office at the ministry the Chargé D'Affaires of the embassy of the State of Israel to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Itay Tagner, on the occasion of the end of his tenure in the Kingdom. During the meeting, the Foreign Minister praised the efforts exerted by the Israeli diplomat in promoting bilateral relations. He stressed the importance of developing those relations and the need to boost efforts to promote peace, development and stability in the region, within the framework of the Declaration Supporting Peace and the Abraham Accords. He wished the Israeli embassy Charge D’Affaires every success in his future duties. For his part, the Israeli Chargé d'Affaires expressed thanks and appreciation for the cooperation and support he received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its officials in order to support his diplomatic missions, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. Present at the meeting was the Director General of the Ministry Affairs, Talal Al-Ansari.
