Higher Education Council Secretary-General receives RCSI President

Manama, Sept. 21 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Deputy Chairperson of its Board of Trustees, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa received President of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland - Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI-Bahrain), Dr. Samir Al Atoum. Dr. Al Atoum briefed the secretary general on the university's plans and aspirations for the coming years. The secretary-general expressed her appreciation for the Medical University of Bahrain's role and its personnel, as they are keen to upgrade what the university offers conceding with the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, wishing them continued success and progress. Dr. Al Atoum thanked the secretary-general and her approach to continuous communication with various institutions of higher education, her efforts aimed at developing the educational system and her keenness to provide the optimum environment to achieve the desired goals to enhance Bahrain's outcomes on a regional and international level.
