FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021: 10-Men Jordan Edge Past Saudi Arabia

Doha, December 02 (QNA) - Jordan defeated Saudi Arabia 1-0, in the Group C match of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021 played today. The competition is taking place in Doha until Dec. 18 under the FIFA umbrella, with 16 teams participating. Mahmoud Mourdi scored the only goal of the game in the 62nd minute. The victory was all the more important for Jordan given they were playing with 10 players, after Ihsan Hadadi was sent off. Earlier today Morocco defeated Palestine 4-0, in the match played at Al Janoub stadium in Al Wakrah. The Goals were scored by Mohamed Nahiri , Abdelilah Hafidi (2), and Badr Benoun. Morocco Tops Group C with three points, ahead of Jordan on Goal difference. Saturday will see Morocco face Jordan, while Saudi Arabia and Palestine will meet later on the same day. (QNA)
