Qatar Olympic Committee, Ministry of Education Sign Cooperation Agreement

Doha, December 02 (QNA) - Qatar Olympic Committee signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the field of physical and sports activities and linking education with sports, in the presence of HE President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi. The agreement involves the exchange of experiences, data and information in the fields of education, physical fitness and the relationship of education with sports, and the dissemination of sports awareness and a healthy lifestyle among students, through the adoption of a policy of exchanging experiences and capabilities at all levels in the field of school sports. The agreement was signed by HE Secretary-General of the Qatar Olympic Committee Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain and HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi.
