Doha, December 05 (QNA) - The activities organized by Qatar Football Association (QFA), in cooperation with Qatar Shell, have concluded. The six-week activities were organized for Afghan refugees within the "Koora Time" initiative, aiming to create a new participatory environment with a tangible psychological impact on the participants and their families. The Qatar Football Association was represented by its Social Media Specialist Abdulrahman Al Abduljabbar, while Qatar Shell was represented by its Social Investment Advisor Jaber Al Mansoor. The concluding activities -which were held at the residence of the Afghan refugees- varied between football matches and recreational games, and football skills with other additional football games. The initiative also aimed to improve the health and safety of young people and children in Qatar through football, as well as supporting the social development pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030, which is in line with the ultimate goal of organizing this event. On this occasion, Director of Marketing and Communications Department of QFA Khalid Mubarak Al Kuwari said that the activities organized for Afghan refugees achieved their goals of creating a participatory environment with a tangible impact on the participants and their families, noting that the initiative targeted an average of 100 participants residing in one residential complex.
