HM the King returns to Bahrain after attending GCC summit

Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa returned to Bahrain after leading the Kingdom’s delegation to the 42nd session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC which concluded today in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. HM the King was received by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and other well-wishers. HM the King earlier left Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was greeted by editors in chief of local newspapers. He extended a cable of thanks to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the conclusion of the 42nd session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which was chaired by Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He hailed warm welcome and good hospitality which refelected strong fraternal relations binding the two friendly countries and peoples across all fields. He valued the hosting of the 42nd session in Riyadh, which embodied the Saudi King’s keenness on supporting the GCC march at all levels, hailing the outcome of the summit which will further collective work, benefit member states and peoples and contribute to preserving regional security, stability and prosperity. HM the King prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with good health and happiness and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with security and prosperity.
