HH King congratulated by HH Shaikh Khalid

Manama, Dec. 23 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable of congratulations from HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee following the successful launch of the first joint Bahraini-Emirati satellite, “Light-1”. HH hailed the close cooperation between the National Space Science Authority in Bahrain and the Emirates Space Agency that reflected the historical bonds and close relations between the two countries. The feat is the latest in the series of achievements accomplished by Bahrain during the prosperous reign of HM the King, he added. HH Shaikh Khalid hailed in this regard the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the distinguished efforts of HH Major General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard, Secretary General of the Supreme Defense Council.
