HM King’s policies, Bahrain’s pivotal role praised by Egyptian President

Cairo, Dec. 23 (BNA): Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi received Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, who conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to him, as well as his wishes for more progress and prosperity to Egypt and its brotherly people. The speaker commended the efforts made by Bahrain and Egypt to support the bonds of cooperation between them in all fields, noting the continuous development of the Bahraini-Egyptian relations in various vital tracks. She stressed the deep relations between the countries and the care they enjoy from their leaderships. She referred to the parliamentary consensus for further cooperation by activating the parliamentary friendship committees between the two countries, and setting a path that carries joint work programmes, in light of the development endeavours in the two countries. President Al-Sisi praised the comprehensive development process witnessed by Bahrain under the leadership of HM the King, highlighting HM the King’s efforts in supporting and enhancing joint Arab action. He appreciated the strong historical relations between Bahrain and Egypt, as well as ways to support and strengthen them in all fields, stressing the importance of coordination between the two countries to serve their interests. President Al-Sisi praised the pivotal role played by Bahrain, under the leadership of HM the King, to achieve security, stability, development and peace in the region and the world, thanks to its foreign policy, which emphasises mutual respect and rejection of foreign interference in internal affairs. He stressed Egypt’s support to Bahrain in achieving its security, stability, development and progress, and reaching its aspirations.
