ABF CONFERENCES PROVIDING LEVERAGE FOR BUSINESSES IN ASIA
KUALA LUMPUR, May 21 (Bernama) -- The Asian region continues to attract
significant investments from outside the region. However, access to the direct
experience and advice of leading corporate figures in the private and public
sectors in the region is critical for the success of any business venture in
Asia.
According to a statement issued by The Asia Business Forum (ABF) Thursday,
it is difficult to gain firsthand information from actual current corporate
experience in many Asian countries as market information and research
capabilities are still limited.
The ABF, which has a network of operating offices in Singapore, Malaysia,
Thailand, Hong Kong and China, annually conducts more than 150 conferences that
focus on current and potential business interests in Asia.
"Conferences are our principal medium for the dissemination of information
and our aim is to deliver to our participants the most effective, local and
international insights, that our clients seek," ABF chief executive officer,
Audrey Van Houten said.
ABF conference producers have successful commercial experience in Asia and
are well qualified to develop conferences that provide strategic and deep
insight for participants into the Asian economic landscape.
These events are also the perfect avenues for business introduction and
direct access to potential clients, she said.
In addition to actual case studies, the ABF conferences provide more than
2,000 expert presentations of strategic, managerial, technical, financial, and
legal and product information to delegates from the private and public sectors
and serve as the platform for networking with industries' leaders, innovators
and investors in Asia, the statement added.
