HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Chairman of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council

Manama, Jan. 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Chairman of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council, HE Shaikh Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, and an accompanying delegation, at Gudaibiya Palace. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the historical ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which continue to receive the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening cooperation across various fields for the benefit of both countries. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad welcomed HE Shaikh Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, and an accompanying delegation, to the Kingdom of Bahrain and expressed his wish that their visit will further enhance parliamentary cooperation. For his part, HE Shaikh Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad and highlighted His Royal Highness’s continued support to bolstering Bahrain/Saudi Arabia relations. The Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HE Fawzia Abdullah Zainal, and the Chairman of The Shura Council, HE Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, also attended the meeting.
