QNB Stars League Week 12 Al Gharafa Defeats Al Shamal 3-2

Doha, January 03 (QNA) - Al Gharafa defeated Al Shamal 3-2 in Week 12 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League at the Al Ahli Stadium on Monday. Al Gharafa owes seventh victory this season to Amr Serraj, who opened the scoring in the 41st minute, the Brazilian Gabriel Perez in the 77th minute, and the Algerian Sofiane Heni (81st), while the two goals of Al Shamal scored by the Colombian Jace Escobar in the 35th minute and Iraqi Amjad Atwan (90 +3). With this result, Al Gharafa temporarily jumped to third place and raised its score to 22 points, three points ahead of Al Duhail, the runner-up, while Al Shamal's balance froze at nine points, maintaining its position in ninth place.
