AFC U-23 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2022: Qatar Olympic Squad Intensifies Preparations

Doha, January 25 (QNA) - Qatar Olympic football team continues training in the preparatory camp in preparation for the AFC U-23 cup finals in Uzbekistan, Qatar will play two friendly matches against Saudi on Jan.30 and Feb.1. Chilean coach, Nicolas Cordova, had invited 31 players to enter the training camp: Ahmed Al Janhi, Andre Siahputra, Abdullatif Youssef, Saif Al Din Hassan (Al Gharafa), Salah Zakaria, Mohammad Al Nuaimi and Lotfi Majer, Rashid Abdullah (Al Duhail), Jassem Jaber, Ahmed Suhail, Mahmoud Abu Nada and Amir Hassan (Al Arabi), Youssef Abdul Razzaq, Nayef Al Hadrami, Mustafa Mishaal (Al Sadd), Faisal Mohammad, Hashem Ali, Ali Mal Allah (Al Rayyan), Abdul Rasheed Ibrahim, Abdullah Al Sulaiti and Jassem Al Sharshani ( Al Ahli), Youssef Ayman, Jassem Al Muhairi, Khaled Walid (Qatar SC), Mohammad Ayyash and Yassin Farid (Al Wakrah) Diab Haroun (Al Khor) Marwan Al Sayed (Al Shamal), Al Makki Mohsen (Al Kharaitiyat), Osama Abdul Karim (Muaither), and Abdul Rahim Al Balushi (Lusail) Qatar Olympic football team reached the Asian finals after topping group A of qualifiers to join other 15 teams, namely: Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, UAE, Jordan, Australia, South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and the host country Uzbekistan. The AFC U-23 cup finals draw ceremony will be held at the AFC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysian on Feb.17. (QNA)
