QNB Stars League: QFA Announces Week 18 Referees

Doha, February 07 (QNA) - The Arbitration Department of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced the names of the referees for the matches of the Week 16 of the QNB Stars League for the 2021-2022 season, on Wednesday and Thursday. The distribution of the refereeing teams for the six matches includes main referee, first assistant, second assistant, fourth referee, VAR referee, and VAR assistant referee. The referees were: Saud Al Athba, for Al Sadd and Umm Salal match, Mohammed Al Sharif, for Al Duhail and Al Shamal, Mashari Al Shammari for the match between Al Wakrah and Qatar Club, Salman Fallahi for Al Sailiya and Al Rayyan, Abdullah Al Athba for Al Arabi and Al Ahli match, and Abdel Hady Al Rowaily for Al Khor and Al Garafa match. Al Sadd leads the standings with 43 points, seven points ahead of Al Duhail in second place with 36 points, while Al Wakrah in third place with 31 points, and Al Gharafa in fourth place with 26 points. These round matches are of special importance to all teams, whether at the top or in the lower positions, and Al Sadd may bring the title closer if it succeeds in achieving victory over Umm Salal, in addition to the decisive matches to escape relegation to the second division.
